Fishermen of the collided fishing boat rescued, will be brought ashore tonight

Nov 20, Colombo: The fishermen onboard a fishing boat collided with a ship in deep sea 40 knots off Kirinda coast have been rescued and they will be brought ashore tonight, the Search Operations Unit of the Fisheries Department"s said.
The fishing boat named "Sadev-1" with five fishermen aboard has collided with a ship at around 1 am this morning.
A multi-day fishing boat named "Madhusha-5" fishing nearby have rescued the five fishermen on Sadev-1 at around 4:30 am.
A Sri Lanka Navy craft has been dispatched to the location of Madhusha-5 to bring back the rescued fishermen.
Since Madhusha-5 is engaged in fishing activities, its current location cannot be pinpointed and the Navy and the Search Operations Unit of the Fisheries Department are monitoring the sea area, according to the reports.
Sudev-I is currently sinking, the reports say.
